In this project, I was responsible for both the industrial design (ID) and mechanical engineering (ME) tasks during the RFQ stage with our client, Machine Q. Once the NPI phase began, I shifted my focus to industrial design and CMF.
Internal PCB Layout and stacking
At Sercomm, ID is responsible for both ID and ME tasks before NPI stage, so i was obligated to do all the assesment including internal stacking, PCB outline drawing, mechanical design and tooling assesment.
Proposing ID/ME changes to Manchine Q
Tooling samples review, assembly check and tracking
Led DFM reviews with suppliers, reviewed tooling samples, monitored tooling progress across each development stage, and defined golden and limit samples for client approval.
