In this project, my responsibility involves designing a thermostat with Wi-Fi access point functionality, a task that encompasses both industrial design and UI design.
The target is to expand the thermostat's capabilities, allowing it to seamlessly serve as a Wi-Fi access point for smart home scenarios.
Multi-Functional Interface
Traditionally, thermostats only serve as climate controllers. In this design, we expanded its functionality by adding Wi-Fi access point capabilities. Utilizing the thermostat's LCD screen, users can now monitor the real-time internet connectivity quality across every room in their house.
